Questions about taking CEUs online
Courses online offer increased flexibility and convenience. The online format allows you to access your courses at any time of the day or night, allowing you to study and complete assignments around your personal and professional schedule. Students attend class by accessing the virtual classroom through an online learning system with 24x7 technical support. These online courses are approved by the State of Florida to meet the necessary CEU licensure requirements.
While at the UF/IFAS Mid-Florida Research and Education Center, you may only make and receive phone calls during class breaks and lunch. Please be courteous of your classmates and place your phone on silent when you arrive. This is a professional learning environment, and you are expected to attend all class sessions and be on time. The instructors reserve the right to remove any unruly or uncooperative student from class without refund of fees.
You will be in a working environment, so please dress accordingly (company uniforms are acceptable). We ask that you wear long pants and work shoes (no open-toed shoes) while class is in session. For the WDO Inspections class a crawl suit is recommended but one will be provided if you don't have one.
